FULL CONSCIOUSNESS

Full Consciousness is a state of being in which the individual entity - while maintaining a sense of personal identity - also holds the sense, or awareness, of being One with God and the totality of the Divine Creation.

All is at peace, perfect joyful harmony and the totality of All that is completely permeated and suffused with an infinite abundance of unconditional love.

Nothing at all is rejected, discarded or abandoned.  All is accepted and totally loved, because all of creation is perfect.

It is a state in which God is personally experienced as truly present at all times in themselves and everywhere else throughout His creation.

Full Consciousness is where humanity is headed and this event is approaching rapidly.  Those who are ready will find themselves there suddenly, to their absolute joy and amazement - amazement because, although they have been praying for it, preparing for it and longing for it, they can have no idea what it really means until they experience it.

The clarity of vision, perception, understanding and the physical sensations that comes with full consciousness can only be experienced.  Descriptions of it are impossibly inadequate and yet of course, we have to talk about it and be aware that it is indeed a state of exhilaration and wonder for which we have been yearning for eons.  Buried deep within each human is a knowing that is the destination toward which they are traveling.  For ages, it has appeared to a state of being that is to all intent remains, providing the unquenchable hope that drives the search to find that heavenly state.
Now, it is approaching and all who long for it, will indeed find it.  Everyone longs for it, even if the longing is deeply buried and
hidden, except for a very small number who have chosen at this stage to reject it.  They will of course be given countless further opportunities to attain this state, and when they can no longer put up with or accept the dark, the unenlightened path they have chosen to follow, they will find that they too have buried within them a longing to move into this state and when they do. they will be most gloriously welcomed.
The Creator does not reject or condemn any part of His creation, because He is infinitely wise, compassionate, loving and accepting and nothing is anathema to Him.All will turn to the Light - the intensely brilliant light that is divine love in action.  It is irresistible and all are part of it from the moment of creation.  And yes, there has been a choice to experience human life with only the tiniest possible sense of awareness of the divine Light. It has been an exercise to demonstrate not only the impossibility of existence without it, but also the fantastic, momentous experience that existence within it provides.
You are all about to come home to that magnificent experience, and your welcome, as you find yourselves once more surrounded and lifted on high by so many loving friends and relatives will indeed be tumultuous!

ATMAN AND BRAHMAN:

The phrase "Atman is Brahman" captures the Vedanta school's primary view about ultimate reality and our human relationship to it.  The Vedanta school of Hindu thought is one of the largest dominant perspectives in Hindu philosophy.

What does "Atman is Brahman" mean?

Let's break the phrase down into it's two basic concepts.

First is "Atman" - loosely translated, this means "Soul" or "Individual Soul".  Atman refers to the essence of each individual living thing - it's soul or primary living energy.  Each living thing - people, animals, plants - have an Atman that forms each thing's eternal essence.  The Atman is not the body and the body is not eternal.  The body houses the Atman until the body dies.  Atman is immortal and eternal.

Brahman is the "World Soul" or "Cosmic Soul".  It is the eternal essence of the Universe and the ultimate divine reality.  It is the life source of all that has been, is and will be throughout the entire cosmos.  It is not an individual being - it is more like the primal ground or reality of all being and existence.

So, the phrase "Atman is Brahman" is saying, quite simply, that the individual soul is the world soul.

In other words, each individual soul say, yours or mine - comes from and is made of the same reality as the world soul.  There is no distinction between us, on the one hand, and the ultimate divine reality, on the other.
This is an amazing concept!

It basically means that in our deepest selves, we are divine.  All living things are divine in their deepest selves.  Now, that divine self may be hidden or covered over by hatred, envy, fear or other negative things.  But, it is there nonetheless and it is our "True" and "Eternal" selves.

Maybe you've heard people say hello, goodbye or greet people with the word "Namaste" accompanied by the clasped hands and a bow.  What this greeting means is something like "the divine in me honours the divine in you".  This statement makes sense because of the belief that "Atman is Brahman" - all living things are ultimately divine.

This concept is at the heart of much of non-violent tradition in Hinduism and it has spread throughout the world into other systems of thought.

For example:  Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. studied the teachings of Ghandi, the famous Hindu leader and learned his concept of "Atman is Brahman".  Dr. King incorporated it into his own Christian theology and used it as a central idea in his theory of non-violent, passive resistance in the American civil rights movement.

Civil rights demonstrators were not to strike back at those who made fun of them or harassed them for their stand for equal rights under the law.  Why?  Because even the worst racists - even the members of the Ku Klux Klan - have an "Atman" and that "Atman is Brahman".  Therefore, they are divine in their deepest selves and that must be respected despite the hatred they express.

"Atman is Brahman" for everyone - not just the nice people.

Imagine the strength it took to not lash out against those who spewed hatred!

Indeed, the concept of "Atman is Brahman" has had powerful impact in the world - even in communities that don't practice Hinduism.

Love and Gratitude to you all.

LIBERATION: What is liberation?

Liberation is a state of freedom, where the individual's ego is eliminated and the true egoless state or the state of Self is cognized.  Liberation is the feeling that exists in all of us, only it is hidden from our view.  It is that something that stands behind us and is our real true life.  It is called by many names such as:  the Atman, the Soul, Self, Brahman, God and so forth, however, it is always one and the same thing.

The question is:  if this our own true and real self, then why are we not experiencing this at all times?
The reason is, that our lower self has created limitations which conceal the nature of our true and real existence.  When these self-created limitations, which are artificial, are removed, then the Atman is realized.  This is called the liberation of the soul.

The soul does not then become something new, it simply remains what it is and where it is and what has been eternally and it will remain so for eternal and all-pervading and untouched by changes of the body, senses and mind-stuff.  It is the unity behind the multiplicity.  It is that rate of vibration that is so rapid, that it seems to be motionless.

It is self-evident, whose nature is to be it's own light.  Neither heaven or hell or earth, good or bad, cause and effect, past, present or future, has any place in it.  It is that incorporeal principle behind corporeal appearance and it is called the Atman.

Liberation or the absolute has two main aspects:
-  freedom from our mental limitations, conceptions and our prejudices; and
-  Enlightenment as to our real and true existence.  When the ignorance and the misunderstanding of our true and real Self vanishes, then and then only does the real Self stand in it's own true effulgence.

That which is eternal was lowered down in density to where it lost it's eternal state and entered a state of bondage.  The deliverance of the human from his self-created bondage, the glory of that which is beyond all grasp of thought, the happiness that is the very foundation of our existence, is nearer to us than anything of a physical nature.  It is not a heaven to be experienced after death, rather it is the eternal heaven which is ever present here and now, and always.

The absolute or nirvana, is not an imagined world or an imaginary existence in which we have to live after we leave here.  Rather, it is the real existence of the Universe, the cognition of the primordial energy, which constitutes all of existence.  It is that, which transcends our body, mind, senses and consciousness.  It is cosmic energy and the cosmic state of consciousness which are our eternal vibrations.

In a freed soul, the liberated and enlightened Atman assumes it's original form, which is infinite existence and bliss consciousness.  Liberation is not the abolition of the self, but rather the cognition of our infinity, the limitlessness and absoluteness that comes through the expansion and illumination of our cognitive consciousness.  This is why, when we reach enlightenment, we finally discover that we are the light.  Bliss is the essential nature of the Self, however, it remains concealed by the mind, by sensations and ignorance, the sense of bondage, pain and suffering disappears.  Then our true nature, unmixed with the senses and contamination, is manifested as pure bliss.

The realisation of liberation, the experience of bliss, the cognition of one's own real Self, is not an objective process by which we are trying to obtain something.  It is simply experiencing one's own true Self.  Liberation is not about destroying the world, but instead, understanding the world as it really is.  It is the knowledge of the Atman that changes the meaning of the world and it's plurality.

The world does not change:  it is just that the liberated soul's attachment to such a world has at long lasted ended.  The world order and worldly events bring no more trouble at the liberated.  One at last realised the oneness with God.  The world no longer stands as a veil between oneself and God.  One has at long last gained liberation, the ultimate achievement, the gaining of divine mind,  Brahman.

ENLIGHTENMENT: What is Enlightenment?

Enlightenment is man's release from his self-incurred tutelage.
Tutelage is man's ability to make use of his understanding without direction from another; and
-   Self-incurred  is this tutelage when it's cause lies not in lack of courage to use your own reason - that is the motto of Enlightenment!

Laziness and cowardice are the reasons why so great a portion of mankind, after nature has long since discharged them from external direction (naturaliter maiorennes), nevertheless, remains under lifelong tutelage and why it is so easy for other's to set themselves up as their guardians.  It is so easy not to be of age.  If I have a book which understands for me, a pastor who has a conscience for me, a physician who decides my diet, and so forth.....  I need not to trouble myself.  I need not to think, if I can only pay - other's will easily undertake the irksome work for me.

That the step to competence is held to be very dangerous by the far greater portion of mankind (and by the entire fair sex) - quite apart from it's being arduous is seen to by those guardians, who have so kindly assumed superintendence over them.  After the guardians have first made their domestic cattle dumb and have made sure that these placid creatures will not dare take a single step without the harness of the cart to which they are tethered, the guardians then show them the danger which threatens if they try to go alone.  Actually, however, this danger is not so great, for by falling a few times they would finally learn to walk alone.  But an example of this failure makes them timid and ordinarily frightens them away from all further trials.

For any single individual to work himself / herself out of the life under tutelage, which has become almost his/her nature, is very difficult.  He/Her has come to be fond of his/her state and he/her is for the present really incapable of making use of his/her reason, for no one has ever let him try it out.  Statutes and formula's, those mechanical tools of the rational employment, or rather misemployment of his/her natural gifts, are the fetters of an everlasting tutelage.  Whoever throws them off, makes only an uncertain leap over the narrowest ditch because, he/her is not accustomed to that kind of free motion.  Therefore, there are few who have succeeded by their own exercise of mind.  Both in freeing themselves from incompetence and in achieving a steady pace.

But that the public should Enlighten itself is more possible.  Indeed, if only freedom is granted then Enlightenment is almost sure to follow.  For there will always be some independent thinkers, even among the established guardians of the great masses, who - after throwing off the yoke of tutelage from their own shoulders, will disseminate the spirit of the rational appreciation of both their own worth and every man's vocation for thinking for him/herself.  But be it noted to the public, which has first been brought under this yoke by their guardians, forces the guardians themselves to remain bound when it's incited to do so by some of the guardians who are themselves capable of some Enlightenment - so harmful is it implant prejudices, for they later take vengeance on their cultivators or on their descendants.  Thus, the public can only slowly attain Enlightenment.  Perhaps, a fall of personal despotism or of avaricious or tyrannical oppression may be accomplished by revolution, but never a true reform in ways of thinking.  Farther, new prejudices will serve as well as old ones to harness to the great unthinking masses.

Which restriction is an obstacle to Enlightenment and which is not an obstacle but a promoter of it?

SCIENCE OF BEING

What is the Science of Being?

The Science of Being, is teaching "the human" mind, we have to organise.......

The big problem with being born into a physical body is that you don't get an instruction manual with it.........
and if you don't take care of your body,
where are you going to live?

Many people spend their entire lives not really knowing how to treat the body they have been entrusted with, or what to do when things go wrong.  Most approaches to health completely miss the fact that there are two aspects to being well and that is the physical and metaphysical.  The "Science of Being", changes all of that.

The truth is that everlasting health and vitality is not difficult to achieve if you understand a few basic principles about how the body operates.  Enlightenment must come first and then Liberation.

L O V E

It’s not easy to take a breather before going toe to toe with the drama in our lives, but this is one of those things you should do and not try. Taking nature walks or doing an activity of leisure you haven’t tried before, can be not only cathartic but also healing from a soul-enriching level. But change begins from within, finding yourself.

For those of you who are givers – it’s imperative you give back to the self. Loving “you” is the best gift you could ever give and receive. When you are balanced and know what you want out of life, then you can offer something of value to another.

How can you say you love someone when you don’t love “you”? It’s easier to do for others it is for ourselves. Problem is, what happens when you give out and have little or nothing left to give? You emotionally shut down and become ”closed off”. So to avoid this learn to love you and set boundaries of “respect”.
It’s okay to say “no” sometimes when you realize your capabilities and zones of comfort. When you go outside of these matters can get confusing, and relationships can be strained. So to avoid this be honest up front with “you”, first, and everyone else after. You can withdraw until a deposit has been made to “draw from”. Inner strength works the same way.

Meditating is a wonderful activity you can do daily to settle your anxiety and restore balance to your spiritual sphere. It also keeps the mind in a ready state of “mindfulness” so you are not caught unaware of what’s going on in your life. Remember thought is energy, and where our minds go – so does the energy to create the reality we wish to live in the moment.

FEELINGS

I want to do what is right, but I do what is wrong?

FEELINGSmust be managed

Feelings are neither good nor evil.  They are simply unreliable and must be managed.  They can be enjoyable and wonderful, but they can also make us miserable and drive us to make choices we eventually regret.
Unbridled emotions might be compared to a small child who wants to have and do everything, but does not understand the danger some of those things present.
The parent must control the child, or the child will surely hurt him or herself and others.
We must parent our emotions.  We must train them to serve us and we don't become their slave.
